SenZ2 was invited to speak at the Smart Farming Conference held at the Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo. We had some great responses and look forward to implement our watermanagement solutions in the agriculture applications.
Water plays an important role in agriculture, especially waterlevels of groundwater and surface water. Besides, the fields around urban areas fulfil also a role as buffers for temporary water storage of urban excess water. This off course can lead to conflicting interests.
In the project “Transparant Polder” SenZ2 introduced the cost-efficient LEVELRADAR to enable farmers to monitor waterlevels of ground water and surface water easy, accurately and in real-time. The data can also be shared instantly with local water authorities to create a shared awareness. This forms the basis of a good dialogue to balance the different interests.
